Castel Romano Designer Outlet
The Castel Romano huge shopping centre opened in October 2003. Its architecture is inspired by Imperial Rome and you can enjoy some splendid views of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance. It's located 15 km away from the EUR district of Rome. The location of the design outlet allows the 5.7 million people that live within 90 minutes' drive to get there easily and the 7.7 million tourists increase the number of visitors. At least 2.5 million shoppers come to the centre every year.
In Castel Romano you can find more than 95 stores spread over a 215,000 sq ft area: Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, La Perla, Zegna Outlet, Etro, CK Jeans, Camper, Diesel and Nike Factory Store and so on. The construction underwent and second Phase in 2006, when 6,000m² and 25 further stores were added. A third Phase is being planned and should start in the second half of 2008.
