It has recently been renovated by the landlady herself, who is an interior designer, and is located on the 3rd floor of a historic building dating back to the XIII century without elevator. A representative of the landlords will help you bring your luggage up the stairs to the apartment. It is comprised of a large living room with a marvellous view of St. Angel’s Castle, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice little terrace with flowers, a table and chairs to eat outside. On Piazza Navona rises the ancient Stadium of Domitian whose elliptic form is maintained. It is one of the most beautiful and famous squares in Rome where you can admire masterpieces done by Bernini, Borromini and Giacomo Della Porta who was among the most important exponents of Baroque Art.
 
In the square of Piazza Navona there are three magnificent fountains: the central one, Fontana dei Fiumi by Bernini is topped by the Obelisk of Domitian, brought here in pieces from the Circus of Maxentius; the lateral ones, the Moor's Fountain and the Calderoni Fountain drawn by Giacomo Della Porta and also knows as Fountain of Neptune. In the centre of the square, in front of the berninian fountain stands the Church of St. Agnes in Agone, built by the architect Rainaldi and Borromini; it represents a magnificent example of Baroque building. Inside the church you can see the Tomb Monument of Pope Innocent X,  erected in the church above the main entrance in 1729 and a shrine of Saint Agnes, containing her skull.
