Q. Are you a hotel?
A. No, our properties are fully furnished rental apartments that Rental in Rome either owns or leases from property management companies.
Q. What are the advantages of staying with Rental in Rome rather than a hotel?
A. There are cost advantages with staying in corporate apartments. On average our rates are 30 % to 50% less than deluxe hotels. Apartments provide you with more space and privacy than hotel rooms. Our kitchens provide you with an alternative to high priced room service meals and an “at Home” atmosphere for cooking or entertaining.
Q. Is there tax on furnished apartments?
A. Taxes are included in our nightly rates. For stays of two days or more, there are no taxes.
Q. Is the City Tax included in the final price?
A. No, the final DOES NOT include the City Tax.
Q. What is included in the apartment rent?
A. All nightly and weekly prices include utilities: specifically gas, electric, and hot water.
Q. How are the apartments equipped?
A. The kitchens are fully equipped. Bedrooms and baths are supplied with linens and towels. There is a television, VCR and CD/Stereo. An iron and ironing board may be found in a closet. Cleaning supplies are provided on demand.
Q. Are there Laundry facilities?
A. There are laundry facilities in most of our buildings.
Q. Is there housekeeping service? If not, what does it cost?
A. Every extra cleaning service is subject to separated agreement and payment.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. Yes, in most buildings. We do charge a non-refundable Pet Deposit based upon the breeds and numbers of animals.
Q. How do I get the keys to the apartment?
A. Keys may be left with the doorman (at doorman buildings). Please let us know which option you prefer. Arrangements should be made at the time of reservation and reconfirmed prior to arrival.
Q. What time is move in?
A. Move in time is after 11:30 a.m. If you need to make special arrangements, please call Customer Service. We guarantee a clean apartment from 14:00.
Q. How may I pay for my reservation?
A. You will make a pre-payment with credit card, bank transfer or Paypal and the balance in cash or with credit card at your arrival.
Q. Should I clean the apartment prior to departure?
A. No, a move out cleaning is included in your nightly tariff and for weekly rentals a fee is added to your leasing contract.
Q. "Any extra charges?"
A. We only charge you 25,00 euros of agency fee.
Q. Should we pay the overnight accommodation tax?
A. Yes, you should pay 3,50 euros per person for a maximum of 10 days. Children under 10 are exempt from payment.
